Gordon Titley
Director of Valuations
Gordon brings over 35 year’s experience in accounts receivable and asset based lending. His knowledge of assets, strategic and business skills give Gordon unrivalled experience.
Prior to co-founding European Valuations, Gordon was a partner in a boutique advisory and investment firm and prior to that was COO of a major restructuring firm after having been Chief Credit Officer and then European Managing Director of GMAC Commercial Finance plc.
Gordon has a joint honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Politics from the University of Nottingham.Â
Dan Edgar CFA
Director of Accounts Receivable & Inventory Appraisals
With over 15 years of valuation management experience to his credit, Dan manages our stock valuation and accounts receivable survey/audit service lines. He has been involved in appraisals all over the globe, serving a wide variety of industries from high-fashion retail to automotive manufacturing and nearly everything in between.
Originally from California, but based in our London office, Dan started his career as a stockbroker, and is experienced in financial modelling & analysis, project & risk management, and has a wide-ranging knowledge of international business, especially within Europe, which he utilises to manage projects consistent with our high level of quality and operational excellence.Â
Prior to co-founding European Valuations, Dan served as Associate Director for an advisory services firm where he was responsible for the management of their stock valuation practice in Los Angeles. Dan graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelors Degree in Business Economics and Global Studies, with an emphasis in Socio-Economic Studies of Europe. Dan is also a CFA® charterholder.
John Lawrence BEng MSc MRICS
Director of Plant & Equipment Valuations & Disposals
Following a career in industry, John has worked within the capital asset valuation market since 2010, specialising in the provision of valuation and loan security advice to lending institutions for asset-based lending, financial statements, disposal, mergers & acquisitions, management buy-outs and equity raising transactions.Â
His other areas of practice include stressed and distressed assets valuation and disposal advice, disposal of all classes of business assets by means of auction, tender and private treaty sales and general business advice including site decommissioning, business breakup, encumbered asset equity release, creditor management, site surrender and property related issues.Â
John graduated from the University of Leeds with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, followed by a Masters degree in surveying from the University of Reading. He is also a fully qualified Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and an RICS Registered Valuer.
Andrew Dunbar
New Business & Marketing Director
Andrew brings 25 years of sales & relationship marketing experience to his current role driving our new sales and marketing activities in the UK & Europe.
14 of those years were gained working in the invoice and trade finance markets and the last 11 years spent in the valuation sector.
Rene Pieren
Director
René has over 40 years banking, commercial & leveraged finance and asset-based lending experience gained in a wide variety of roles including risk, sales and marketing, operations as well as senior roles where he has managed teams and built and grown businesses.
He started his career in corporate banking and was most recently active as Chief Commercial Officer and General Manager of BNP Paribas Factor The Netherlands where he was responsible in setting up a greenfield operation.
